Yikes! I haven't shared anything on The Winnelspot in two months!
We've been painting, updating faucets, shopping for furniture, and all that good new-house stuff. But not this weekend! Mikey and I didn't have anything we really wanted to do around the house (and we wanted a break from it), so we decided to take a day trip.
As with most of our travel, we made loose plans and deviated along the way. Yesterday morning we figured we'd head for Cape Flattery, the most northwest point of the lower 48.
After a little lunch in Poulsbo, we stopped at Nourish Sequim for dessert. I've seen a lot about farm-to-table restaurants, and they all look so lovely. But with my food allergies and being vegetarian, I figured I wouldn't encounter too many I could eat at. But this place is all gluten- and soy-free. We got two desserts that were dairy-free, so we could both enjoy! Yum. We'll definitely return for a full meal.
